RUDN
Peoples' Friendship University of Russia is one of the most well known universities in the country. It was established in 1960. In 1961 it was named Patrice Lumumba University. In 1992 it was renamed Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.
The University's peculiarity is in its multinationality: more than 440 nationalities from 146 countries study there. The process of education is based on international approach. In total nearly 28 thousand of students, postgraduates and interns study here.

On February 5, 2020, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia was 60. Our company participated in repairement works in the RUDN. We designed, produced and installed 150 sqm of designed parquet flooring for three rooms of the rectorate (rector's office, his reception and lobby). We also engineered, produced necessary materials and installed designed parquet flooring on the metal stair structure. The work was done within less than a month.
The client presented 3D model of the rector's office.
For such spacious light office we suggested classical tile 6–196 from ash. The parquet backgound is big squares bordered with thin planks, small exquisite flowers are in the crosslines. The tile is strict and decorated at hte same time.
Today ash is considered one of the most popular wood species. Ash wood flooring create an atmosphere of serenity and lightness filled with golden spots and light. After finishing ash is distinguished by noble satin shine. For the rector's office we chose ash without knots and sapwood with homogeneous fibers. Eventually the colour of the floor will be deeper, and intricate pattern of wood will be more homogeneous.
An elegant border was designed for the office. It perfectly matches vivid and natural pattern of the background with floral design.
We hope that our parquet flooring will create beneficial atmosphere and good mood in the office.
In the other two premises with higher traffic the same tile 6-196 was made of oak that is harder than ash. Border 7-114 was used in these premises. Its light and dark wood species make the flooring look contrast, clear and precise.
We had a task to install designed parquet flooring on an existed metal stair construction.

3D-modelling is made when commplicated elements are used in the interior.
Already at the manufacturing stage precise dimensions make it possible to produce highly accurate parquet material. In this case the stair's construction needed in-place fitting of the materials.
