Completed works
The Zaryadye Park was conceived as "an inextricable connection between the past and the present of Russia".
Vladimir Putin spoke at the Moscow Urban Forum
The Great and the Small halls of Zaryadie Park hosted sophisticated floors by Art Parquet. We installed subflooring on a steel substructure, set pre-finished steps and risers, and accomplished it all with 2,500 sqm of oak solid parquet.
Metal grating provides a perfect framework for the stairs. Complicated space geometry determines non-standard shape of each step.

Parquet fooring was designed on the basis of the acoustic experts` recommendations. The halls like this one require special solutions, espeially using materials with good sound transmission. We have completed a number of projects like this: The Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and The Music Theatre of National Arts under Nazarov`s guidance.

Along with wear resistance, floors for this type of premises should have increased moisture resistance. To avoid cracks and excess moisture absorbtion, we apply finish coatings specially developed for us by the Italian company Chimiver. This special finish treatment improves moisture resistance, thus making a positive effect on acoustics.
The skillfull team in our color laboratory thoroughly developed the tone to meet the customer`s needs. When performing this complex object, some part of the parquet was covered right on-site, what is often seen as the most difficult stage. To merge the pre-finished and on-site finished parquet was the challenge we faced and really pulled it off!
Durable and fire-retardant lacquer was the final touch to increase the fire-resistance of parquet.
It took us one month and a half to carry out installation works.
