Performed work

«Ambitious project, architectural landmark of Moscow, architectural monument to modern engineering….»
«OKO is a great project. It is flawless and luxurious»

Famous architect Massimo Iosa Ghini designed interiors for the complex. He is the author of interiors in the headquarters of Ferrari and Maserati. Massimo Iosa Ghini: «Moscow is the city that has something to look at. I would like to live in OKO, on high. You can enjoy a beautiful view from up there. It makes a person from any country feel at home there».

All apartments in the Oko Tower are rendered with ready exclusive interiors. The interior design is based on the "perfection of simple geometric shapes and their harmonious match with the space of the capital as the centre of business life".

We produced and installed exclusive parquet tiles for the apartments in the Oko Tower.

The developer imposed tough requirements on time terms: 60 sqm of parquet flooring should be produced and installed within one month.

He designed the parquet pattern and provided us with the sample with beautiful texture and interesting colour.

Two-layer parquet construction was chosen in order to make flooring more stable and to speed up the installation process. The dimensions of the tile match the dimensions of the premises so that it is not necessary to cut the tiles near the walls.

The client chose bassket weave as a lying pattern. This geometric pattern is characterized by interesting 3D effect based on the texture of used wood. The tile was made of oak Elite grade in order to fully transmit the beauty of the pattern.

The parquet was produced in 2 weeks. The most difficult task in parquet production was to create necessary texture and to stain the wood correctly. Our colouristic laboratory worked out a special recepie for staining parquet flooring for this project. Multi-step staining was made by hand. Finishing was applied on the UV line that guarantees high service characteristics of parquet flooring.

Preparation of foundation, installation and levelling of plywood and parquet installation were made in 2 weeks. Plywood is a perfect heat insulating and antivibration material. It also perefectly levels the surface before flooring installation.

Thanks to the high accuracy of tiles and their preliminary installation on site without gluing the flooring matched exactly the designer's sketch.

At present engineered parquet installed on plywood is considered the most stable. We used two-component PU adhesive for gluing parquet flooring.

The peculiarity of the project was that parquet flooring should align with metal convectors set-in flooring. The metal plates were anodized and treated to be sustained to abrasion and corrosion.
