Government House of the Russian Federation
The Government House of the Russian Federation is a famous administration building situated on the bank of the Moskva River.
In different years in this building there were located the Supreme Soviet and the Government of RSFSR, since 1994 this building is the Government House of the Russian Federation.
Total area of the buildings of the Government House is 172,7 thousand sqm (studies and 27 halls for running events and receptions).

Russian President`s area (650 sqm)
Parquet flooring in the President’s area is characterized by strict forms, contrast combinations of dark and light wood species. Parquet flooring is made of traditional Russian wood species: oak, walnut, maple, ash. The flooring is elegant and harmonizes perfectly with interiors. In the reception room the mosaic parquet is made of four wood species different by texture and tones: ash, walnut, oak and wenge. Artistic impression is achieved thanks to rhythmical alternation of dark and light wood species, the flooring pattern reminds the grating with big cells.
In the President’s study mosaic parquet "zigzag" (oak, walnut, maple) is installed. The parquet flooring creates a decorative effect of three-dimensional surface. The parquet flooring is decorated by an expressive ornament (meander): 7-150. In the rest room mosaic parquet represents a net of quadrates (oak, walnut, maple) laid "in envelope". Rhombuses and parallelograms create an illusion of three-dimensional geometric figures.
In the assembly hall the designed parquet is made of four wood species different by texture and tones: ash, walnut, oak and wenge. Artistic impression is achieved thanks to rhythmical alternation of dark and light wood species, the flooring pattern reminds the grating with big cells.

Prime Minister’s area (300 sqm)
<Colour scale of parquet flooring in the Prime-minister’s area is bright and picturesque thanks to great quantity of wood species used including very precious Karelian birch and exotic wood species (merbau, wenge).
In the study parquet flooring composition is made of oak quadrates framed by the strips of merbau and Karelian birch (6-067). The flooring is perfectly combined with the interior design. Warm light brown tone of the flooring harmonizes with dark wooden furniture. Karelian birch (the texture of which reminds marble) emphasizes the furniture. The main field of the flooring is enlivened by a multi-petal medallion reminding an open umbrella. The medallion includes simple geometric design as well as more complicated expressive motives: acroters.
For the assembly hall we chose tiles and the medallion "Wind rose" decorated with amaranth.
Assembly hall (320 sqm)
The main field of the Assembly hall is very expressive despite the fact that the flooring is made of only one wood specie – sapelle. Flooring triangles are installed in such a way that the texture is emphasized when lightening at different angles. Parquet composition is inseparably connected with the interior design. The centre of the hall is occupied by an oval medallion all around of which there are desks. In the main field of the oval medallion three round medallions are inserted. Flower design prevails in these three medallions. The composition of the oval medallion includes two symmetrical flowerbeds.
Anter-room (150 sqm)
Parquet flooring of the anteroom are made of traditional for Russian parquet materials: walnut, oak, maple, ash. The flooring pattern represents recurrent three-dimensional parallelepipeds (6-447).
In the assembly hall geometric tiles were used. The tiles are made of several wood species (oak, walnut and maple). Colour of parquet flooring perfectly matches the colour of walls (yellow colour with oak parquet, white colour with maple parquet) and furniture (dark brown colour with walnut).
