Gorki-9, the Residence of the Russian Prime-minister

About location

Gorki-9 is the biggest residence of the President of the Russian Federation. It currently serves as the residence of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.

It’s one of four official residences (as well as The Moscow Kremlin, The Bocharov Ruchey, and The Dolgiye Borody). Gorki-9 was used as the government dacha of former President Boris Yeltsin before he moved to a residence in Barvikha.

Since 2009, our company takes part in the design works in various rooms of this complex. Moreover, we constantly carry out restoration works of the parquet floorings as Gorki-9 is a highly visited area.

Completed works

In 2009, we worked out the project for the later production and installation of parquet in this residence— the living room, the study room, the room of the First Lady, the entrance room, the parlor, the library, the dining room, the press conference hall, and the sitting room. (2500 sqm).

According to "Moscow perspektiva" (No. 45, April 29, 08) our company has "the great experience, painstaking studies and the knowledge of modern materials as well as production technologies" allowing us to take large-scale projects.

Flooring-design

Our designers and artists mapped out 4 kinds of flooring-design. They all were carried out in the same style — Late Classicism. The final design was approved by the architects from MosProject-2. Our artists and designers got an invaluable experience working together with such high-level professionals.

Tremendous job was made in the coloristic laboratory as we had to mix different colors to become “soft honey” one. For the Art Parquet company it was serious and interesting challenge, big responsibility and the reason to be proud of.

For this object were used classical patterns of tiles parquet such as 6-184 and 6-248. Contrasting shades emphasize each of the elements of the tiles, giving a new wave to the classics. The parquet ensemble for the dining room was created on the basis of the drawing, which decorated the chairs from the dining room.
