3 000 sqm of artistic parquet and 260 doors with gilt on them in the Palace of Independence in Belarus
The information on the recently constructed presidential residence of Belarus called the Palace of Independence is extremely limited. To become comprehensive details about this site is still difficult - no promised tours for ordinary citizens and journalists. Some facts of the large-scale construction were discovered thanks to the Russian company yantarnaya Pryad-Parquet, which installed parquet and doors in the Palace of Independence.
The total area of parquet works was 3600 sqm. According to the company, there are many rooms and halls in the Palace of Independence. There are at least 45 rooms only on the first floor: big and small banquet halls, a universal hall, a hall for solemn events and official meetings, a press center, premises for negotiations and meetings, and a hall for awards. According to experts, the cost of artistic parquet installation, like the one shown in the photos, can vary from $ 300 to $ 2,000 per sqm (this includes the price of the materials themselves and installation works).
Yantarnaya Pryad-Parquet has also manufactured and installed 260 doors: the height of 14 doors was 4 m, and 6 of them have a height of more than 4.3 m. Luxury wooden doors with carved ornaments are decorated with gilding and patina. According to theexperts, the cost of one such door is more than 3 thousand dollars.
The Russian company was laying parquet on many famous objects of state and historical significance: the Kremlin, the Bolshoi Theater, the Arkhangelskoye Museum Estate, the Hermitage, the government residence Gorki-9 near Moscow,, the Government House and the National Bank Tajikistan, the Residence of the President of Kazakhstan and many others.
The reason for the success in implementing large state orders in the Amber Strand Parquet is attributed to the fact that they are one of the few who can "perform such work in the shortest possible time, in large quantities and with the help of qualified teams ." In addition, the company has one of the largest production woodworking complexes with an area of more than 12.5 thousand sqm in Tula region. There are also own forestlands with a total area of 16.5 thousand hectares and an annual volume of logging of 61 thousand cubic meters.
