The city manor of G.A. Karatayeva and I.V. Morozov was built in 1833 by three masters of Moscow architecture. The manor's interior reflects peculiar characteristics of each architect.

A big and complicated restoration has been made for the first time in building's history. The building should have been modernized. The city manor is a cultural heritage site and is under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Performed work

Our company has participated in the overhaul of two buildings of the manor. Works have been carried out during almost four years (step by step).

The peculiarity of this building is that it did not forfeit its unique interiors. "Many original elements were preserved: door panels, window filings, parquet flooring, artificial marble, gilt, beautiful insertions hidden behind panels and coats of paint, alfresco painting work", said Alexei Ochnev, architect of the Main Administration for Service. The idea was to preserve everything, even minute details, to return to the initial look without destroying the spirit of times.

Designed parquet flooring was preserved only in one hall.
