Moscow State Estrada Theatre

Moscow State Estrada Theatre was founded in June 1954 on Mayakovsky square. In February 1961 the Estrada theatre celebrated its second Grand Opening – it moved to the Bersenevskaya embankment where it is located nowadays. At its stage many acknowledged masters and acting duet received a good start in life. The Estrada theatre celebrated its 50th anniversary season in a new interior.

By the season opening in 2008 the company Art Parquet dismantled the old parquet foundation, produced and installed new parquet flooring (500 sqm). Two weeks and a half later new flooring was ready for theatre-goers.

Mosaic parquet flooring represents a net of four quadrates laid “in envelope”. Parquet flooring was made of oak and bright walnut. Both wood species are resistant to deformations, that is why they are ideal for premises where high resistance to wear is required. The interior design turned out to be in the style of Moscow theatrical interiors.
