Situated in center of Moscow the mansion von Rekk is also known as "The house with Lions on Pyatnitskaya". It was built for M.I.Rekk by the architect S. V. Sherwood in 1897.

This building is richly decorated with stucco moulding. Two sculptures of caryatids decorate the front window of the first floor. There are two lions at the bottom of the attached pier. The first lion sees on the street, the second one is dozing with the head on his paw.
