FIDEXPO–2007

FIDexpo (Furniture Interior Design exhibition) is one of the chief Russian exhibitions of furniture and interior objects of Hi-End class. FIDexpo is a bright and impressive event where leading manufactures and suppliers present the latest things of interior design. FIDexpo is a marketplace for designers’ community, venue for architects, designers, dealers, representatives of big furniture companies and media.

FIDexpo is not only presentation of the best samples of furniture, lightning, decorative fabrics and accessories distinguishing by originality of designers’ solutions and the highest quality of performance. This exhibition reflects adequately the dynamics of development of modern design and demonstrates the range of interior trends.

Art Parquet participated in the 7th International Exhibition of furniture, interior and design "FIDEXPO–2007" (Gostiny Dvor, Moscow, March 1-4, 2007). More than 50 companies presented their new interior solutions.

The company’s designers always try to find new means of expression and this time they paid attention to Pablo Picasso’s works. Art Parquet showed that various styles and directions can be reflected in parquet flooring.
  
The picture "Les Demoiselles d’Avignon" was taken as a basis for creating a parquet panel. This panel is an attempt to reproduce the spirit of cubism, the so-called "cubic cryptography". People’s forms are hidden behind the kaleidoscope of geometric forms. Their silhouettes are barely distinguishable, only the look free from the stereotypes of perception is able to combine all colours and forms in a single composition. Colour combinations of wood species strengthen the general impression of instability and unreality of forms.
 
Specialists saw the true value of the company’s panel where lacquered beveled mosaic parquet ready to be installed was used. This kind of mosaic parquet allows parquet flooring to be installed faster without loss of quality. The panel presented at the exhibition had been assembled within 2 hours.

As a result Art Parquet and the whole range of companies specializing in the sphere of flooring production and selling discussed shared experience and concluded contracts.
